We will offer the following programs and services …
This program is centered around providing at-risk youth with practical skills and knowledge necessary for the workforce. Through hands-on training in our smoothiez truck, bar, and cafe. Participants learn about customer service, food preparation, and business operations, equipping them with valuable job skills and work experience.
Our mentoring program pairs participants with experienced professionals from various fields. These mentors offer guidance, mental health and mental fitness, helping mentees navigate both personal and professional challenges. The program is designed to build confidence, foster resilience, and set the foundation for successful futures.
This educational program aims to equip youth with the foundational knowledge needed to make informed financial decisions. Covering topics such as budgeting, saving, credit management, and investing, the program prepares participants for financial independence and stability.

Developing a concept for long-term, lasting transformation must be the main focus of social innovation. Through the Love Is The Key model and its network of support, we hope to change the lives of young people tangled in the legal system across the DC, MD, and VA (DMV) regions.
To expand the Love Is The Key model. model across the region, the Love Is Key DMV advisory collective was established in 2023. Our goal is to develop the Love Smoothiez bar and café and programs that provide living wages, job training in the culinary arts, and comprehensive assistance to young people before they get into trouble or who have already been through the system. We are the parent company of Love Smoothiez, a nonprofit organization dedicated to growing capacity.
